V3 prototype · Original Sergio feedback
Scope and conclusion
The original Slack thread was read in full: the parent recap and all 16 replies. The audit covers the applicable Sergio feedback and the three subsequent requests: the hero parallax slideshow, the single-row queued highlight reveal and the queued partner-logo reveal.
The requested structural changes are present in V3. Two content dependencies remain open: dedicated close-up photography for Go and Lite, and final copywriter approval, including the comparison banner wording. The suggestions specific to the two-hand V1 hero are outside V3's selected scope: V3 retains the V2 business-scene carousel.
Browser checks describe the viewports and interactions actually tested. They do not certify every browser or a physical iPhone/Android device.
Feedback checklist
| # | Feedback | Result in V3 | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | The desktop merchant caption is too stretched. | Centred caption with a maximum width of 600 px; merchant names and portraits retained. | Implemented |
| 02 | Avoid two competing hero CTAs; delay the header CTA. | The desktop hero keeps its lower CTA. The main-header CTA becomes available after the Pro presentation. | Implemented |
| 03 | The standalone 3D demonstration has blurred controls, empty space and no message. | The duplicate demonstration is removed. One Pro presentation remains, with a heading, supporting copy and three benefits. The top blur disappears with the hidden header. | Implemented |
| 04 | Choose one product demonstration instead of two consecutive versions. | One Pro image sequence is used. | Implemented |
| 05 | Scroll animations are too long and can feel blocked. | Pro and integration scroll distances are shortened. The photo reveal is faster; Ask a Local uses ordinary page flow. | Implemented; interaction checks below |
| 06 | Put Pro close-ups in More details. | Nine original Pro macro photographs and captions are included in the native product gallery, with Up close / Features navigation. | Implemented |
| 07 | Apply the close-up approach to the other terminals. | Model-specific Go and Lite galleries remain available. Dedicated macro photographs for these models are not supplied. | Assets needed |
| 08 | Allow horizontal touchpad scrolling through highlights. | Native horizontal scrolling, mouse drag, arrow buttons and keyboard navigation are retained without capturing vertical page scrolling. | Implemented |
| 09 | The integrations heading is squeezed to the left; try “your” in Teya Script. | The entry heading is centred across two lines, with “your” in Teya Script. | Layout implemented; final copy review |
| 10 | Remove Flying Media from this page. | The section and its controller are absent from V3. Shared easing assets used by the new hero remain dependencies only. | Implemented |
| 11 | Rewrite “All types of local businesses”. | The working heading is “Find the right card machine”. | Implemented; copy approval needed |
| 12 | The Teya Pro image in the range looks distorted. | The original photograph of Pro printing a receipt replaces the composite; its aspect ratio is preserved. | Implemented |
| 13 | Consider more compelling content in the comparison banner. | The existing “Find your kind of machine” / “Compare the machines” wording remains. | Copy decision open |
| 14 | Try a lighter bento background. | The surrounding background is white; original videos remain inside the cards. | Implemented |
| 15 | Ask a Local has an odd entrance and takes too much scroll to reach. | The section begins in normal page flow, without scroll pinning. | Implemented |
| 16 | Keep the more rigid photo carousel and restore the arrow cursor. | Fixed fan poses, native horizontal snap and directional mouse cursors are present. | Implemented |
| 17 | Trust content appears too late and exits to the left. | The trust panel is visible in normal document flow with no lateral exit transform. | Implemented |
| 18 | Remove the exclamation mark from “Ready when you are”. | The heading has no exclamation mark. | Implemented |
| 19 | Use the supplied parallax gallery in the V3 hero without thumbnails. | Four business scenes use parallax transitions, arrow buttons, dots and horizontal gestures. No thumbnail strip is present. | Implemented |
| 20 | Reveal highlight cards in a queue on scroll, on one line. | The existing single horizontal row receives staggered entrances. | Implemented |
| 21 | Apply the queued scroll reveal to integration logos. | The 20 actual partner tiles are queued; the faded duplicate row remains decorative. | Implemented |
The V1-only suggestions to lengthen its hero description and reduce the emphasis on its Teya card visual are intentionally not applied to the selected V3 carousel hero.
Live browser checks
Combined browser coverage at 1440 × 900 and 390 × 844 (the list is shared coverage, not every scenario repeated at both sizes):
- Page rendering and section progression.
- The 420-frame Pro sequence, with no reported sequence errors.
- Navigation menu opening, closing and returning to page content.
- Go, Pro and Lite product-detail dialogs; Pro macro-gallery access.
- Comparison navigation, including horizontal keyboard navigation.
- Product quiz, result flow and reset.
- Mobile bento stacking and card videos.
- Ask a Local next-card interaction, trust panel and FAQ.
Additional checks completed:
- 320 × 568: hero next-slide control; quiz popups and result flow; Lite details opened from a quiz result; closing CTA. A product-sheet clipping defect was found and corrected in the local V3 source. After the fix, a 32 px scroll brought the complete 44 px controls into view. The closing-copy spacing fix was visually verified at this width.
- 1024 × 768: hero, product range, header, Pro details and comparison banner. A comparison-banner width defect was found and corrected in the local V3 source; measured root horizontal overflow fell from 205 px to 0 px.
- 768 × 1024: product range and header checked. The centred navigation overlapped the account button by 39 px. The compact-menu breakpoint for widths from 768 to 900 px was verified locally, including menu opening/closing, and its published header was checked again without overlap.
430 × 932: hero framing and controls inspected; no horizontal overflow or failed loaded images observed.
844 × 390 landscape: hero, scrolling menu and Pro detail sheet inspected; the Pro image, caption and controls fit the available height.
No blocking display problem remained in the tested views after correction. Physical Safari/iOS and Android touch behavior were not tested; the browser viewport checks do not certify those devices.
Corrections published during this review
Five targeted corrections were identified during this review:
- Published, visually verified at 320 × 568: restore the missing visible space after “48 hours” in the mobile closing copy.
- Published: remove five irrelevant legacy “Split the total” captions from Go/Lite product details, in V3 only.
- Published, verified at 320 × 568: let the mobile product-sheet body use the remaining height rather than a hard-coded maximum. This keeps its controls reachable when the return-to-quiz toolbar occupies additional space.
- Published, verified at 1024 × 768: constrain the comparison banner to the viewport width. This resolves growth to 1228 px caused by the combination of aspect ratio and minimum height; root horizontal overflow is now 0 px in this check.
- Published and verified at 768 × 1024: switch to compact navigation between 768 and 900 px to prevent the desktop links from covering the account button.
All five corrections are included in published version 29. V1 and V2 source files were not changed. The updated V3 script passed syntax validation and the diff passed whitespace checks; an independent source review found no new concrete issue.
Evidence: published small-screen sheet, published tablet header.
Remaining decisions and assets
- Supply dedicated Go and Lite macro photography to give those models the same close-up treatment as Pro.
- Obtain final copywriter approval for working headings and the comparison banner CTA copy. No new testimonials or product claims have been invented to fill these gaps.
- Only Karl's supplied testimonial is displayed as a quotation; it is not reassigned to the other portraits.
